The gift of music

Learning piano is an excellent introduction to music! Sight reading, theory, rhythm, and song writing are included in private weekly 30-minute individual lessons. With dedication and proper support, students will experience the joy of music!

Benefits of learning piano abound! These include brain development, hand-eye coordination, creativity, stress relief, self-discipline, linguistic and math skills, vocabulary development, and boosting self confidence. Music also reduces stress and anxiety. Additionally, piano can be a springboard to learning other musical instruments and singing.

The James Bastien piano series includes four books per level- Piano, Theory, Technic, and Performance. The John Thompson piano series is a classical approach. Either piano series can help students learn piano basics gradually and gently.

Students are also encouraged to explore music outside of the lesson series, including popular songs, classic songs, and improvisation.

The goal is to instill a love for music and a greater appreciation for the arts.

Daily practice is required. Services are discontinued if students miss lessons, lack commitment, or fail to make progress.

A recital is given once per year.

The cost is $35 per week. Payment for the month is due on the 20th of the month before.

We begin with a two-month trial period to allow children adequate time to determine whether or not they would like to continue with lessons.
